This quilt was inspired by a 200-year-old kimono and uses traditional elements of Japanese art: clouds, bamboo, and clamshells. The butterflies are formed from marbled cotton hand-dyed by Marjorie Lee Bevis. Pattern is full-sized and includes detailed sashiko, appliqué, and finishing techniques.
