Flights of Fancy & Perfect Petals: Wool Appliqué With Sylvia Pippen
Learn how to use Presto Sheer, lightweight woven cotton one sided fusible to stabilize the wool, how to applique the wool shapes to your background, and a few simple embroidery stitches to embellish the wool. Your workshop fee includes:
- One bird or flower design
- Your choice of wool pieces for your project from Sylvia’s huge stash.
- Background fabric: Essex cotton/ linen ( your color choice)
- Presto Sheer stabilizer

Additional supplies to bring: most of the following supplies are available to use in class or purchase
- Your favorite appliqué thread. I like to use #50 cotton.
- #28wt Ellana Sue Spargo wool thread
- Your favorite appliqué and embroidery needles
- Starch based glue pen
- SHARP micro-serrated pointed Scissors
